Portmeirion Cup from The Botanic Garden Series with Common Tomentil (Potentilla Erecta) My wife brought this some time ago, along with a few other Portmeirion items. She now collects Tremar pottery and needs to make some space for her ever increasing collection so has decided to let the Portmeirion go The cup doesn't have a saucer and I'm not sure if it should have one or not? It's roughly 2.5 inches high and the opening at top is approx. 3.5 inches in diameter It features a pattern called Potentilla Erecta, otherwise known as Common Tomentil, which has small yellow flowers, plenty of green leaves and a number of small and different butterflies wrapping around the cup. On the bottom of the cup it confirms that this is from the Botanical Series, from around 1972. It's in good condition with no chips or cracks, but I notice there is some crazing in the glaze in one or two areas I've taken multiple photos, rotating it a little each time so you get a good view of all of it, hopefully the photos show you want you need to see Happy to combine postage if there is more than one item you would like to purchase Thanks for looking
