Outstanding production Rookwood pottery vase. Dated 1925, with the impressed Rookwood mark and shape number 2911.Impressive
size and good mold, very nice drip glaze that does not obscure the design. The
color is a pleasing mauve rose - a little different than the typical 'pink' glaze often seen on Rookwood production pieces.Measures 8.5" tall by 7" wide; vase opening is just over 3.5" diameter at the outside edge. Weighs 2.5 lbs unpacked. Excellent condition with no damage, no repairs, not even any crazing. A few light 'metal' marks but not terribly noticeable. Glaze thins out by the foot but I don't consider it a flaw and it's not visible on display- please see the photos.This piece really makes a statement! I personally really like the drip glaze and the different look of each side. A fantastic, very substantial piece to add to your collection. It will be packed securely to arrive safely. You can choose your shipping -USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority. Both will be insured.
