size antique cranberry rake. I'm glad to combine shipping on all 3, would make a stunning wall display. This piece is especially nice in that the rake pieces have unusual triangular cut points at their tips, and gently serrated edges down their sides to grip plant stems. This piece was definitely used & this is not a reproduction display piece. Quite heavy, made from thick solid woodA beautifully made piece of Primitive Folk Art great for display. Very collectible. These were generally made in Maine or Massachusetts for blueberry and cranberry picking. This piece has some very old nails in it, along with 2 newer nails probably added much later to stabilize the piece at the back on the bottom [can be seen in pics]. Great darkened aged patina on this piece.This is an OLD box and so has the charm of age and signs of use. Scratches and scuffs typical of age and use, adds to its charm. Very collectible. Good antique condition- has considerable rubs and scrapes consistent with age and use, all over. No cracks or splinters. No broken or repaired rake dowels along back, none are loose, handle is securely attached. There is what appears to be a dried glue flake where the handle joins the box, very inconspicuous, probably from time of construction.Has 2 old metal hanging hooks attached to back, ready to hang.
