SHARPSTAR 61EDPH II TELESCOPE, FOCAL REDUCER/FLATTENER, CAPS, CLAMSHELL, BRACKET

Excellent condition and tested Sharpstar 61EDPH II triplet refractor with focal reducer/flattener, ring/handle and all caps as shown. No dovetail. 61mm f5.5 335mm focal lengthVery sharp image when viewing, tested/used by me visually, no astrophotography done as I don't do that. All glass and coatings fine, no issues, very clear. From my research there were some that left the factory with less than great optical quality but this isn't one of them. At 251X there was the slightest hint of

color at the edge in both sides of focus on Capella but frankly I feel I was talking myself into seeing it. Certainly nothing on the order of what was reported from the bad examples. The focal reducer/flattener is untested as it has a 48mm thread on the camera end and I don't do astrophotography, but it appears pristine. We have been on Ebay for 24 years in the form of Oddog2 (24 years, feedback 23,279 @ 7/23) and Camerabooks (three years, feedback 356 @ 7/23) so buy with confidence.
