I have for sale a medal from the 1893 Columbian exposition, that advertises aluminum. This medal is listed in the Eglit catalog as 245 and in the new Starlust catalog as ST-eg-245. The medal is aluminum, it is 1 1/4 inch in diameter (30mm) and in a high-grade uncirculated condition, see photos. The obverse shows a scene with the fair grounds below a globe on which is the map of North America. Around the rim it reads 1492 WORLD'S FAIR 1892 - SOUVENIR. On the reverse it has three sections, that read, WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION - ALUMINUM EXTRACTED BY ELECTRICITY FROM COMMON CLAY - CHICAGO, U.S.A. 1893.
