These are original Confederate officers non-dug spurs in nice condition. The Bob Baird book on spurs says they are a variant of the leech and rigdon type. These spurs have some staining to the brass due to age and the rowels are rusted and no longer move. However it is almost impossible to find a pair of confederate spurs that are non-dug . These spurs would make a fine addition to any civil war collection and difficult to improve on. Book not included in sale.
