Also suitable as a wood stove pipe sealant.How to UsePrepare Surface: Ensure surfaces are clean from dust, loose particles, and oil. Slightly moisten very porous surfaces.Apply: Use a standard caulking gun. Apply between 41°F and 95°F (5°C and 35°C).Smooth: To smooth the surface, use a putty knife, spatula, or a caulking tool set for a professional finish, and remove any excess material.Clean-Up: Use a water-dampened cloth to clean uncured sealant. Cured sealant can only be removed mechanically.Fire Cure: After the sealant has solidified, slowly and gradually heat it up to 482°F (250°C).
