This vintage typewriter ribbon tin was made by the Manifold Supplies Co. in Brooklyn, New York back in the 1950s or early 1960s! The tin features an airplane and the map of Panama in bright blue, green, red, and white lithography. This is a screw-top tin with matching metal top and bottom sections. The tin includes the slogans “Always a live wire” and “Call your local Panama-Beaver Man” on the side. Even the interior is lithographed with advertising graphics and the slogan “Since 1896 The Line that can’t be matched”. The bottom is marked “Manifold Supplies Co. Brooklyn-New York Made in USA” and “Bronze Royal Black 63 90304”. The tin measures about 2½” diameter x ⅞” tall. As shown in the photos, the tin is in very good condition for its age with nice bright colors and sharp details. There are some small marks, light scuffs or scratches, and possibly a light dent or ding typical for a container this old. The top and bottom fit together well, and the interior is very clean.
