size yard sticks will fit depending on how tight you want them. Metal Hyper Tough Rulers fit. (Can get them at any Walmart) Please note. They go in at an angle then you push flat to "click" them in. They are snug at first but will work looser as you use them. We have one that has 100's of adjustments and slide nicely with a snug enough hold to handle without looking your adjustment. We have shown the two wooden sticks we like to use also. Very common sticks found for purchase. Because of many different sizes of dimensions of yardsticks, WE CANNOT guarantee fit of every yardstick ever made. The ones shown that we designed this for can be purchased from big box stores like Walmart and Lowes. We have worked on this design for a while and feel this one with the window on top looks the best and is still sturdy. Like all 3D prints with PLA some imperfections may exist (corners might be a bit round, might see some threads inside) but adaptor is fully tested and ready to work before being shipped. Thank you!
