Listing details

- Pre‑Prohibition mouth‑blown whiskey bottle, c. 1890s–1910, embossed “STANDARD TIME BOURBON” in horseshoe slug plate.- Base embossed “DALLEMAND & CO CHICAGO,” a noted Chicago whiskey firm known for fancy liquor bottles.- Stands 12" tall with tooled square‑collar lip, lots of seed bubbles, light amethyst tone starting to develop.I love this majestic bottle. Mouth-blown - it starts at 2 ¾” in diameter and gracefully rises to 3” diameter at the shoulder and continues to climb with a long 3 ½” neck and finishes with a tooled square collar lip (which is not that common in an old liquor bottle) to stand a full 12 inches tall. It has a horseshoe shoulder ring embossed “STANDARD TIME BOURBON” inside. The base is embossed “DALLEMAND & CO CHICAGO”. Dallemand made many fancy Amber bottles but this clear amethyst one is pretty scarce. The neck tooling is very expertly done but still leaves flaws and inconsistent beauty. It's an excellent Pre‑Prohibition example of Dallemand’s scarce Standard Time Bourbon brand, c. 1890s–1910.It is in dug condition with some inside haze and light stain but is full of seed bubbles with no chips or cracks. It’s a beautiful thing.
