Antique Set CHARLES FIELD HAVILAND LIMOGES Chocolate Pot w 2 Chocolate Cups & 1 Saucer FRANCEAlso great for espresso or coffee. Pot holds just a fraction less than 6 cups of liquid4 Pieces Total- 1 Tall Chocolate Pot [without lid] sized 10" high, opening is 3.5" long 2 Chocolate Cups sized 2 15/16"high x 2 1/8"across tops1 Saucer sized 4 5/8" across. Saucer has a center indent to fit cup. EXTREMELY LAVISHLY decorated, gorgeous details. The tall-necked shape with rounded ribbed body is VERY rare. Pattern consists of 2 rings of pink rose swags w curved blue ribbon, flanked by green rings covered in gold filigree. Gold scrolls and a wreath of gold leaves at the center of the spout, stunning. Extremely fancy handles covered in gold gilt. Glossy white inside and out, with a rounded, vertically ribbed shape.Along the bottom of each cup and the jug is an embossed gold scrolled leaf pattern. Marked on bottom of each full markings [see photos] which date this piece from approx 1891-1910Extremely elegant and delicate elongated lines to the spout and handle of pot [mirrored in cups]Cups have gold filigree along their inner rims This is a marvelous looking set and would be stunning on display or in use. Wonderful for a collector.A charming set, they just do not make lovely pieces like this anymore.
