Antique French Brass Handheld Telescoping Spyglass - The brass end cap is stamped MADE IN FRANCE - Circa 1910 - In pre-owned, used condition. The brass has a lovely patina. The glass lens is intact. The leather covering is original, but not completely attached. The telescoping mechanism works fine. Objects look a little blurry when I look through it. It still has its original cap that fits over the lens. The cap has 3 identical slits evenly spaced out around the perimeter. It looks like is was manufactured that way (and I see other antique scopes on eBay that look the same). The cap fits great/snugly. - Measures approx. 13-1/4" long fully extended and 5" long when fully collapsed. - Weighs approx. 6.2 ounces before wrapped for shipping - Will be shipped either USPS, UPS or FedEx…..whichever is most economical - Local PICKUP is available.
