I have for sale a souvenir medal from the 1893 Columbian Exposition that was held in Chicago, Illinois. The medal is aluminum, it is 1 3/4 inch in diameter (44mm) and in circulated condition, see photos. This medal is listed in the So Called Dollar catalog as HK174, in the Eglit catalog as and in the new Starlust catalog as ST-eg-9. The obverse at the rim reads WORLD'S FAIR - SOUVENIR. In the center it shows the exposition buildings and grounds on a globe. At the bottom of the scene, it reads, WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION - CHICAGO1892-3. The reverse shows a Columbus landing scene also on a globe. Under the scene it reads LANDING OF COLUMBUS IN AMERICA - OCTOBER 12TH 1492.
