This used 10 Million Hungarian B.-pengo banknote is part of the b.-pengo series introduced by the Hungarian National Bank in 1946 to address post-war hyperinflation and reduce the number of zeroes. One b.-pengo is equivalent to 1 trillion pengo. This purple note is dated 3 June 1946 and signed by Csontos Ferenc, Oltvanyi Imre, and Farago Lajos. Its obverse side features Lajos Kossuth and two angels flanking the crowned coat of arms. Its reverse side illustrates stylized flowers and a dove in flight with an olive branch. The note does not have a security thread or watermark. However, its dimensions are 185 mm x 87 mm.
