Large, rare, and heavy souvenir building replica model of Canada's famous Casa Loma -- the Gothic Revival castle-style mansion in Toronto, Ontario, that is now a historic house museum and landmark. It was constructed from 1911 to 1914 as a residence for financier Sir Henry Pellatt. The architect was E. J. Lennox. This replica is not metal, but made of real sand and is very heavy, weighing approximately 2 1/4 lbs. It measures 7" x 3 3/4" x 4 3/8" to the tip of the left hand tower. It's
color is a medium light beige. It is in very good used condition, the only blemish that I can see being a small chip on the lower left hand corner at the baseline. The metal souvenir version of Casa Loma is rare enough -- this is the only replica I've ever come across made of sand. Not in any of the standard souvenir building catalogs.
