This vintage and rare porcelain basket is exquisitely decorated and hand painted. It includes cherubs and beautiful flowers. The sides have a fabric tapestry effect that was achieved by fine cross hatching and meticulous hand painted scenes. This maximal piece also features prominent applied flowers that have diamond accents in the center. These hand formed, porcelain roses are applied all over. The lovely basket is completed with gold luster finishes. From my research, I believe this piece dates to the middle of the 20th century. It is an uncommon piece, and I haven't seen another like it on the market. This unique and eye catching basket could be used as a trinket dish, a planter, or a centerpiece.
