The MUCAR Story The company was founded in the United States. It consists of a group of partners who are passionate about car modification, knowledgeable in vehicle maintenance, and proficient in mobile internet technology. 80% of the team members have many years of experience in technology research and development in related fields. All products are designed, manufactured, and sold directly by MUCAR. 10 COMPLETE OBD2 FUNCTION MODES Read Codes: Read the existing fault code in the current control unit. (Application: Usually, a warning light illuminates on the vehicle's instrument cluster, and the current fault code can be read.) Clear Codes: Clear the fault code in the current control unit. (Application: Use this function when the car problem is resolved; the warning light will turn off. If the current fault cannot be resolved, use this function when maintenance is required.)On-Board Monitor Test: Retrieves and displays test results for emissions-related powertrain components and systems. EVAP System Test: The EVAP test function allows you to initiate a leak test of the vehicle's EVAP system. This tool does not perform a leak test itself, but rather sends a signal to the vehicle's onboard computer to start the test. The vehicle manufacturer specifies the standards and methods for aborting the test once it has started. Before using the system test function, please refer to the vehicle's service manual to determine the procedure required to end the test. O2 Sensor Test: Allows you to retrieve and display the test results from the O2 sensor monitor for the most recently performed tests from the vehicle's onboard computer. Freeze Frame Data Display: When the vehicle has a fault, a fault code is generated, and the freeze frame can be used to display the vehicle data at the time the fault code was generated. (Application: The service technician assesses the fault location based on the relevant data.) Read Live Data Stream: Reads and displays the live ECU/PCM data stream. Application: By monitoring these real-time data streams, maintenance technicians can gain an overview of the vehicle's overall performance and provide guidance for vehicle maintenance. I/M Readiness Status: Indicates whether the vehicle's various emissions-related systems are functioning properly and ready for inspection and maintenance testing. Read Vehicle Information: Displays information such as the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), CID (Calibration ID), and CVN (Calibration Verification Number), etc. DTC Code Lookup: Detailed description of the DTC. Enter the 10.5-bit code to see the detailed definition of the DTC and view the diagnostic hints/solutions for the current DTC. EASY TO USE - The most effective OBD2 diagnostic toolPlug and Play, No Charging RequiredCompared to other similar-level car diagnostic tools, the MUCAR CDL20 is more effective and user-friendly. It's an electronic DTC dictionary for mechanics and DIYers to look up fault codes directly. Designed with intuitive menus and 4 buttons, it's incredibly easy to use, allowing entry-level DIYers to perform their own inspections and repairs. Read Codes / Clear Fault Codes I/M Readiness Read Live Data Stream View Freeze Frame Data O2 Sensor Test On-Board Monitor Test EVAP System Test Read Vehicle Information (VIN, CIN, and CVN) DTC Code LookupWith the integrated DTC lookup, simply enter the DTC you are looking for and receive the detailed definition to help you solve the problem. It displays the DTCs and their definitions simultaneously, saving you the effort of searching the internet. Check the Check Engine Light The OBD2 scanner can quickly and accurately determine why the Check Engine Light is illuminated, helping DIYers or mechanics locate or even fix the problem. Simply clear the codes after some repairs and the light will automatically turn off. I/M Readiness for Smog TestsWith the I/M Readiness function of this OBD2 scanner, you can check whether the various emission-related parts or systems of the vehicle are functioning properly and whether the monitors are ready for a smog test. If not, repair them before the smog test to pass and avoid fines. Retrieve vehicle information This OBD2 code reader can easily access the vehicle's ECU and retrieve its information, including VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), CID (Calibration Identification Number), and CVN (Calculation Verification Number) for accurate diagnostics. You don't need to search for the VIN. O2 Sensor TestEnables retrieval and display of O2 sensor monitor test results for the most recently performed tests from the vehicle's on-board computer and precisely identifies oxygen sensor and vehicle emission faults. Support for 8 languagesMultilingual support: English, Spanish, German, Russian, Italian, French, Polish and Portuguese.
