Speedplay X-Series Cleat Set Stage for X1, X2 and X5 pedalsThe Speedplay X Cleat Set Stage kit, V.2, includes the anodized bottom plates, spring housings w/ springs and V.2 M4x12mm cleat fastening screws. The bottom plates use TYPE III HARD ANODIZATION which provide the most abrasion resistance of all the three types of anodization. These bottom plates use the GOLD hard anodization. (If you prefer BLACK BOTTOM PLATES, please purchase the sponsorship-only black X cleat sets and X cleat set stages on this account which use BLACK hard anodization.) The spring housings use GV6H grivory. (NOTE: The "6" in GV6H refers to the 60% glass content in the grivory.) The V.2 M4x12mm cleat fastening screws are compatible with the original X cleat sets and the V.2 X cleat sets. This kit does NOT include the base plates given that under normal usage, base plates rarely wear enough to require replacement. (IMPORTANT: If your base plates are significantly worn, please do NOT purchase this kit and purchase a complete X cleat set instead.)IMPORTANT: These Speedplay X cleat set stages are compatible ONLY with the original Speedplay Snap Shim Base Plate (V.1), the Speedplay V.2 Snap Shim Base Plate or wahoo Speedplay Base Plate. The wahoo Speedplay Base Plate is also denoted by the "V.2" on the Base Plate.
