These tongues are stamped from " thick, high carbon and high manganese steel and then water quenched and tempered to hardness of Rockwell C 45 to 50. This provides high strength without undue brittleness. They are then NICKEL PLATED for corrosion resistance and easy soldering. These are ideal for the scratch builder or to re-enforce the tongue on an existing chassis. SHIPPING IS $4.95 DOMESTICALLY. INTERNATIONALLY Shipping cost $18.75. I will be happy to combine multiple items to reduce your shipping cost. To my international customers: Historically I have been able to provide shipments of many of the items I offer at very reasonable prices. Recently the method I used that enabled me to do that has been discontinued. Consequently the cost of shipping for those items is increasing dramatically.
