The 14X, 16X, 18X and 38X forward unit input (FUI) and 14X and 16X forward unit output (FUO) sealposition will be affected by the two piece seal construction. The FUI and FUO positions will require a running sleeve to be pre-installed on the yokes before yoke installation to the axle. Because these seals are designed as unidirectional, they can not be usedfor the following applications: Front Drive Steer Axles, Cranes, Transfer Cases, Lift Trucks, and in any vehicle application that spends an equal amount of time operating in forward and reverse including any/all AxleTech applications.
