Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Upscale Centuri Magnum Hornet 3” Dia, 38mm Motor Mount, 54” tall H-I power Back in the early 80’s the “Mighty D” engine was the biggest and baddest motor on the block and the Centuri rocket company wanted a showcase rocket to demonstrate what this awesome motor could do. Thus the “Magnum” Hornet was born. In its day, the original was a huge rocket that was fast with exceptional performance and durability. This upscale brings this rocket to heights the original designers could only dream of. At 3 inches in diameter, 54” long, and with a 38mm motor mount the Magnum Hornet is the second in our high-power, Level-One class rockets. Because of its

size and weight, this rocket is only recommended for Level One and above certified flyers and requires a minimum of an H motor to fly it. However, this rocket makes a great cert rocket if you are looking to get your Level One certification. This kit includes two 3” diameter body tubes, a 6-inch-long coupler, 38mm motor tube, plastic nose cone, laser-cut plywood fins and centering rings, a Kevlar-

Brand shock cord, and an absolutely gorgeous vinyl decal from CF Fluid Art. This kit does not include a parachute, rail buttons, chute protection, harness, or motor retention, so that you can use what is appropriate to your field conditions and equipment. We do carry some of these items in our store if you are wanting to take advantage of combined shipping. This is not a beginner’s rocket and is not recommended for your first rocket. This rocket has been successfully flown by prototyper extraordinaire Dustin Habegger on an H219W with a 10 second delay to 2402 ft. Photo credit of his own build, to the also extraoridinary Eric Bunkers. Thanks for looking.
