Starter solenoid pigtail connector harness for 2017-2018 AUDI A3, L4, 2.0L

Up for sale is a brand new, unused, starter solenoid pigtail connector harness for 2017-2018 AUDI A3 L4, 2.0L. PLEASE MESSAGE US BEFORE ORDERING IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS REGARDING THIS PRODUCT OR ITS APPLICATIONS. This is the single lead (male) pigtail harness that plugs into the starter solenoid. Long term exposure to the elements tends to cause the plastic on the original pigtail to become brittle and crack/break. This replacement pigtail can resolve this issue.Typically, the replacement harness is spliced into the vehicle's existing harness by crimping it in place with a butt connector and crimping tool (not included). Please be sure to use sufficient pressure with the crimping tool to ensure tight crimps on the ends of both wires being crimped. To verify that the new pigtail harness has been properly attached, use a FAIR amount of force to pull on both sides of the butt connector simultaneously. (USE ABOUT THE SAME AMOUNT OF FORCE AS YOU IMPOSE WHEN TYING YOUR SHOELACES). The newly crimped ends should NOT give any slack at all. If the wire(s) begin to pull out away from the butt connector, cut the butt connector off and repeat the process with a new butt connector and make sure to impose sufficient force on the new butt connector with the crimping tool. The pigtail carries a 10 year warranty against any issue you have with it. Even if you accidentally break the pigtail, we will replace it at no cost to you.No warranty on labor or other associated costs.
