Marantz 2330B Stereo Receiver - Tested/Serviced, Working. 130 WPC@8Ω - new LEDs

This listing is for a Marantz 2330B Stereophonic Receiver in excellent cosmetic and functional condition, rated at 130 watts per channel @ 8Ω with ≤ 0.05% THD. It has been tested/serviced and is working. The unit is in original condition except for new LED Dial/Meter lamps for cool operation, long life, and improved brightness. It features Pre-Out/Main-In jacks that allow separate use of these functions, as well as a simple way to make use of a graphic equalizer or other sound processor equipment. It also features hook-ups for two turntables. This is a multi-voltage unit allowing it to be used in most areas around the world by a simple adjustment on the back panel. It is currently set for operation in the USA and has an original Marantz non-polarized 2 prong AC power cord. A copy of the Handbook of Instructions and Service Manual will be included. The following outline covers the testing/service work done: · All speaker connections have been tested and are working, both right and left channels. · The tuner was tested using a simple di-pole wire antenna. AM/FM radio stations were received as expected across the radio dial. The Dial Pointer lamp was working at time of testing (see pictures). · Tape 1, Tape 2 and Aux inputs and outputs were tested and function as expected. · Phono 1 & 2 inputs were tested and function as expected. · Headphone jack was tested and is working. · All Switches and Potentiometers were flushed with contact cleaner, followed by treatment with the appropriate DeoxIt treatment. · The Stereo and all source indicator lamps were working at time of testing (see pictures). · All Meter and Radio Dial lamps were replaced with Ice Blue LED fuse-style lamps. This was done to create a contrast between the Radio Dial and Source illumination. · The light-diffusing Velum paper behind the radio dial was replaced for

color clarity. · The original Marantz branded output transistors were removed, cleaned, and re-installed with fresh heat transfer compound. · Cleaning on all exterior surfaces was done to improve appearance. · The original Marantz power cord was inspected and cleaned. · Any missing top cabinet or bottom plate screws were replaced. · All feet were inspected and replaced as needed. · DC Offset and Idle Current adjustments were set to factory

specification. · Watts/channel was checked using a Peak and RMS Output Meter to meet/exceed model specs. · A final extended use test was performed to ensure functionality. · The unit was tested in regular operation for a period of one month without incident. · Overall Size is approx. 19.25” W x 17” D x 6” H and weighs approx. 49 lbs. This listing describes the item to the best of our ability. Like all units of this era, they have some marks and other signs of wear. The most notable is a small scratch to the right of the Power button and can be seen in several of the pictures.
