JBL, L20T3 Speakers, Very Good Condition!

Brand: JBL Model: L20T3 Type: Woofers Qty: 1 pair Description: The JBL L20T3 speakers were the later version from the 1990's, replacing the model L20T. For their compact size, they really produce a big sound. Normal low listening levels, about 5-10 watts power is enough, but they can play high levels with more power. These speakers sound wonderful with good quality audio equipment. I was using Pass Labs, model Aleph-30 amplifier on these speakers, and sounds glorious. Tube amplifiers also sound really good on these speakers to. The cabinets overall condition is very good. Just very minor little flaws that just are due to normal moving. The speakers were used only for background music in the dining room area, and used at low volumes, never at loud levels, so these speakers were very well cared for over the many years of owning them. ***Please note*** Regarding the speaker grills... There is just one cosmetic worn fabric in the upper corner of the grill on the left speaker, And one grill peg is broken off on the upper corner on the right speaker. See photos for details. About the speaker components..... The woofers are the 115H, and they have rubber surrounds. They do not deteriorate, crack, or dry out from age. The woofer cones are a poly type material. They do not deteriorate, rip, crack, or dry out from age. The poly cone is very light, and stiff, resulting in very fast transient response. Very nice controlled bass, and very fast midbass, and smooth natural midrange. Thick cast aluminum frame for lowest distortion. Copper voice coil for fast heat dissipation and power handling. The woofer bass response is extended with a tuned ported cabinet, that's vented on the rear of the cabinet, to make the bass output more efficient in a smaller volume enclosure. The tweeters are the 035TIA, titanium dome. They have very clear, and very detailed high frequency reproduction. The manufacturer claims that these tweeters have a high frequency response out to 35khz, which is way above music production and human hearing. Average Impedance is about 6 ohms. There's no warranty on these items. I, the seller, is not responsible for anything that will cause these speakers to fail, due to the buyers Improper handling or Improper use. The speakers, were previously used at low power, and functioning, and working good. 25 years selling on eBay, so I know how to pack. The tweeters will be properly packed for safe arrival.
