This beautiful lead crystal ashtray measures approximately 4.5 inches square, is nearly 1 3/4 inches thick, and weighs 2 pounds 8 ounces. It is stamped Baccarat France. There is only one small defect in the glass, which is shown in the last photo. Baccarat crystal is manufactured in the Lorraine region of France. The company was established in 1764 and has been producing fine crystal glassware there ever since.
