READING HDW RIM LOCK COMPLETE SET: w/KEY & KEEPER & KNOBS & ESCUTCHEONS (20050) Vintage, steel rim lock circa 1890-1900. Comes with the key and both escutcheons and the matching 'keeper'. Box measures 4 1/8" wide, 3 1/4" high. Backset (the distance from the front edge of the faceplate to the center of the knob hole) is 3 3/8". Comes with the key escutcheon, the knob escutcheon, the period knob set with normal scrapes or scratches, (see picture), the keeper and key. We have cleaned it inside and out, to eliminate the old dirt and grime. . Heavy duty & high quality, large brass key fits and functions perfectly, safety lock also functioning perfectly.
