Really cool midcentury item, dove in a Hollywood Regency style. Solid brass and handmade, as pictures show it opens to a trinket box, presumably designed to hold matches, as the top of the pineapple is a holder for a tapered candle as well. Complete, and opens/ closes as intended. Maintains its original sticker on bottom. Very nice condition, with a moderate and even patina on exterior. I made no attempt to clean or polish this vintage item. Please see pics for further description and condition.
