1899 Spanish American Peace Jubilee William McKinley Washington D.C. Bronze Badge Medal Token. The front of round medal reads "NATIONAL PEACE JUBILEE May 23-25, 1899". The back of round medal is inscribed "William Ramsay SECRETARY OF FINANCE" (or Bamsay?) so this was personally engraved to be warn by him. Condition as shown on pictures. I believe originally there used to also be a ribbon and a pin attached but those parts are missing. The Jubilee was an event held in Washington, D.C., May 23-25, 1899, to celebrate the reestablishment of peace between Spain and the United States at the end of the Spanish American War. Both parts connected measure approximately 2.875 tall, 2 inches wide. Please see all pictures for exact details.
