A Battle that has been described as ending Japanese hopes of taking control in Siberia, along with contributing to the collapse of the British, French Dutch and US empires in Asia. Defeated by far superior Russian numbers and technology, they turned their attentions elsewhere leading to the break up of the old colonial rule.
