It is clear, and can be purchased at most hardware stores. I've used it to apply appliques to clothing and it even survives the washer and dryer.) You can also put these tags on leather, metal, or other objects by poking holes through the material and pushing the prongs through. The prongs have rounded ends with a small notch that you might be able to use to secure the tag to the item. It is not a hole, but a notch, so you can't sew through it. I believe the prongs were pushed through the leather and possibly bent over with pliers to secure them in place. If you use a pair of pliers (protect the metal with a piece of paper towel or a t-shirt) you can gently bend the prongs over to make a loop against the flat back. You could sew through the loop you make. If you are creative, you can use these Authentic GUCCI tags as labels on decanters, golf items, clothing, crafts,
