After a few listens, the overall album loses its original steam, but the tracks still stay firm on their own. The album starts off with a strong Cuban side that mixes subtle electronic elements with traditional to create tracks, that if heard coming from a DJ set would make listeners stop in curiosity or groove along. The strongest of these are Los Chicharrons' "In the Beginning" and Boozoo Bajou's "Divers." Boozoo's more Afro-Cuban feel lets the album gently slide into a more drum'n'bass and Afro-eccentric feel. Oddly enough, the album's weakest point comes from a remix by Sean Lennon of a Tom Ze tune.
