Listing details

This 1930s quilt in the Grandmothers Garden pattern features fabulous fabrics including florals and novelties. The centers of the flowers are either yellow or orange. The octagon pieces measure 2.25" x 2". It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is a very thin cotton batting. I love how the yellow border ties all the colors together. It is backed with a cream colored muslin. The condition is very good - I only noted one piece that needs restitching, and a few very light spots. It measures 72" x 85" and is shown on a full

size bed. Made in Paducah, Kentucky.
