This is a sale for a 100% original Program for the University of Michigan at the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers for the 1938 game. This program is in VERY GOOD Minus condition. This PROGRAM is INCREDIBLY SIGNIFICANT for a multitude of reasons: * This game featured arguably the greatest Wolverine of all time TOM HARMON!!!! * This is the HOMECOMING NEWS program, not the Official program. There is much history about "programs" printed in Minneapolis for games against UM. * Program features All-Americans: Ralph Heikkinen (Consensus) and future AA Archie Kodros, Ed Frutig & Forest Evashevski (UM) and 2x AA Frank Twedell and future AA's Urban Odson and George Franck (both Consensus) & Win Pederson and Helge Pukema (IL) All pages are accounted for...key!!! The staples are securely holding all pages including the cover and center & no writing exists. The less than ideals are: the most noticeable is the paper wear most noticeable in the bottom right quadrant of the cover near the spine; otherwiseoverall normal handling wear, light page turn wear exists, light surface and spine wear as well as surface and edge wear exists (normal) and the corners are rounded. Internally, pages are in better condition than the cover. The back shows just how minimal the handling soiling is given the white paper stock - this is a CLEAN program - and usual light surface/edge wear exists with rounded corners. Please see pix.
