This print is authentic from 1934, but it's not like modern baseball card autographs where players sign directly onto the card. Instead, it's a print where players signed a single photo, and newspapers distributed printed copies to readers. Nevertheless, it is undoubtedly authentic as an antique print with facsimile autos. In October of Showa Year 9 (1934), Yomiuri Shimbun included an insert when the Major League Baseball All-Stars visited Japan. The insert featured a signed group photograph of the All-Star players of that time, including Babe Ruth Earl Averill, Lou Gehrig, Charlie Gehringer, Lefty Gomez, Connie Mack, Jimmie Foxx, Moe Berg. Also Japanese HOFers, including Eiji Sawamura, the teenager struck out the big boys. These prints were enclosed as supplements in the newspaper at that time. It is not a thin piece of paper, more like card stock. Dimensions: 26.5 cm (height) x 38 cm (width). 13"x 10.5" Please judge the details from the image. There is some wear especially on the bottom left side, but it still displays nicely. I will send it well protected. It makes a great conversation piece. Please ask if you have any questions! ig novara_cards
