$1.00 1861 Corporation of Richmond VA with Spanish milled coin and LIGHT GREEN TINT. Listed as a COUNTERFEIT in George Tremmel's book on Counterfeit Confederate Currency, as a rarity 8 VA-R2/B. Has the "PRES" in the bottom right corner. Left edge margin marked "Fac-Simile Rebel Shinplaster" This note is in ALMOST Uncirculated condition. You can see some very light bends around the edges (A MISS HANDLED UNC). This is an original note, NOT a copy or reproduction. FREE Shipping with very stiff cardboard.
