Antique Shop Made Wrought Iron Shop Made Claw Hammer This item from an estate in Long Island, VA known as the Buttercup plantation. An estate with a history dating back to 1825 and a blacksmith shop on site. We are not experts on blacksmith made items and don’t know for certain how old the wrought iron items recovered from the plantation are or know with certainty which ones were made on site, but the items in this lot were found at the plantation house or blacksmith shop.
