Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This piece of tremolite from Balmat, New York shows
color under longwave, midwave, and shortwave UV. (Weaker lamps will have a weaker response, of course.) Photos # 1 and 2 are in Longwave UV, while photo is in Shortwave. There is no blue on this rock. This weighs 4.2 ounces (120 g), and measures 3.00 inches X 1.50 inches X 1.25 inches (7.4 cm X 3.6 cm X 3.0 cm). For good quality UV lamps at a reasonable price, I suggest you consider the Internet offerings of Engenious Designs. The manufacturer sells these lamps directly to you. This is shipped using Ground Advantage Mail. If you plan on bidding on MORE than one item, let me know BEFORE you pay your invoice, so I may combine shipping to save you money when possible. I can often fit five or even six rocks in one package. If you are the successful bidder, please leave positive feedback. It is much appreciated. If you have any questions, please ask.
