NOS EMD Electro Motive GM General Motors Locomotives London ON 50 Yr Poster

As you can see from the photos, this poster addresses EMD's London, Ontario facility, commonly referred to as "Diesel Division". Unknown to most folks, this facility manufactured Terex, GMC buses, locomotives, and light armored vehicles. Plant has long been shuttered with locomotive manufacturing moving to Muncie, IN.I didn't start going to this facility until the early 1990's as EMD was closing down the LaGrange, Illinois locomotive manufacturing plant. Up to that point, I really had no idea as to the scope of this plant.In the year 2000, Diesel Division celebrated it's 50 year anniversary. A number of items were made for this celebration including this poster. As you can see, it goes through the history of the plant. It comes with a guide for all the photos.Poster measures around 24" x 36". I don't think they made too many of the posters as I've never seen any offered on eBay.As an aside, a commemorative coffee mug as well as a booklet was made for this celebration. I no longer have the booklet but could probably find the coffee cup if someone is interested.I will ship this USPS with full insurance inside a very sturdy tube.Last photo shows how DD shipped the tube to their employees. They were wrapped in plastic with a tie wrap. You will receive a sealed poster that I will place this inside the larger shipping tube.
