The performance in Japan has been reborn with a new remaster and new cutting. A mysterious masterpiece that goes beyond the ordinary, and the ultimate beauty brought about by an extraordinary sense of time. Celibidache's highly acclaimed live performance in Japan is back with a new remaster and new cutting. It was previously released as a 2-LP set as ALTLP-073, but this is out of print. Now, it has been re-released as an unprecedented 3-disc set. We create a new analog master tape and commercialize it. Due to the long recording time of this performance, it is difficult to include the entire movement on one side of the record and play it back effectively, especially the third movement, which lasts over 30 minutes. Therefore, this time we intentionally changed the side in the middle of the movement and recorded it as a 3-disc set. Using this method, we were able to keep the entire record within 20 minutes, avoid distortion on the inner circumference of the record, and be able to engrave the remaining performance as is without lowering the master volume until the end. The climax of the finale also has a more direct sound pressure feeling than usual, allowing for powerful playback. It can be said to be the supreme analog worthy of enjoying this unique masterpiece. We have carefully considered the places in the third and fourth movements where the board is turned back, choosing points that allow us to step into a deeper world without disrupting the flow of the music. The 8th Symphony included here is a simple example of Celibidache's late Bruckner playing. He uses a slow tempo that goes beyond common sense, and makes sure the sound resonates clearly. Of course, the relationship between each sound is clear. Time is passing in a completely extraordinary way here. Whether it's Allegro or Adagio, it basically doesn't matter. It's as if the general sense and concept of fast and slow has disappeared. When we listen to music, we usually expect comfort in the fast parts of the major key, and express sentimentality and sadness in the slow parts of the minor key. However, that general view of music doesn't apply here. This is because it is more abstract, showing the beauty of tones, rhythms, and complex combinations of various elements.
