Hand Painted Purple Floral Dessert Plate with Gold Trim and "P" Initial on Haviland France Blank. Measurements: The round plate measures 7-1/2 Inches in Width. The gold trim on the rim is 1/4" in Width. Condition: Very good antique condition with very little wear to the gold trim. There are no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. Light shelf wear exists. See photos. Maker's Marks: The plate has two maker's marks: First, there is a printed green underglaze 'Haviland - France' mark. This mark, designated as 'Mark I' by the Haviland Online website, is a manufacturer's blanks mark that dates to ca. 1894 until 1931. The second mark, by the artist or design studio, is a green hand written initials of "O.F.O.". See photos.
