For sale we have a fossil jaw section of an camel from the genus Poebrotherium. This specimen was personally collected from my ranch in Nebraska. Poebrotherium was much smaller than modern camels having a
size more similar to a sheep and no humps. They lived during the mid Eocene through the mid Miocene. This specimens were collected from the Chadron and Brule formations of the white river group, making them Eocene to Oligocene in age. This jaw would be a perfect addition to a fossil collection. It is a piece of natural history that tells the story of the ancient world and the creatures that once roamed the earth. Don't miss your chance to own this impressive fossil.Specimen measures 1.8" in length,Item number do combine shipping where possible.
