VINTAGE 1935 Very Rare BENJAMIN FRANKLIN MODEL 177 Pellet Air Pistol / Nice!!. All intact but does not seem to pump up to any measurable amount of compression. It will cock and when engaged , the safety works to prevent the trigger from firing. It will fire when safety is moved over after cocking. I have not tested it as far as trying to fire a pellet but I do not believe it would expel a pellet. Research seems to indicate these were produced one year only in 1935. The wood handles are not chipped or broken. Please enlarge and determine condition for yourself but I believe this air pistol would restore nicely. As far as a repair to working condition, I have no opinion as to the ease or possibility of that. I have made no attempts to polish or otherwise restore as some may prefer the patina that developed over 88 years.
