Antique Creil Montereau French Faience Plate, La Chanson a Tous Les Ages, No. 1 Click images to enlarge Description Antique Creil Montereau French Faience Plate, La Chanson a Tous Les Ages, No. 1 This French faience plate has a great deal of charm. Made by Creil Montereau between 1844 and 1920, the plate is polychrome transferware in pink, white and shades of black and gray. The plate 's central design is titled "La Chanson a Tous Les Ages" or translated, "The Song at All Ages". Below the image is "Un An" or "One Year". There is a song sheet with an old French children's song: "Puit JoJo colin mon p'tit frere, Fais JoJo, T'auras Lu Lolo!." A rough translation: " Since JoJo is my little brother, be JoJo (little rascal); you'll get milk!" If someone has a better translation, please let us know.
