Heinrich & Co. Bavaria Hand-Painted Antique Punch Bowl Set 14"

This beautiful antique punch bowl, 7 matching cups, and stand were some lady's labor of love. The American lady purchased imported plain whiteware items imported from Bavaria, then hand painted the set to her taste. The brown base is marked for Heinrich & Co Selb (the mark used starting in 1911). The punch bowl is marked only "Bavaria". The cups are marked Rosenthal Selb (mark used started in 1926). This set dates to pre-WW2. China painting was the rage earlier in the 1900's; a hobby for ladies of leisure to show off their accomplishments. The artist (Nettie Jackson) signed her work as shown in photograph .Originally photographed 8 cups. Sorry to say one has been damaged. Dimensions: Punchbowl - Top diameter 14". Bottom diameter 6.75". Height 6.5". Base - 9" Diameter x 3" Tall.Cups - Top diameter 3.75". Bottom diameter 2". Height 2.5". Handle extends additional 1" from top diameter. Condition: Excellent giftable condition. Top of stand shows paint erosion; all remaining paint intact and good condition. No chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, or mentionable boo-boo's.Unpacked weight: 9 pound, 8 oz.
