OKAYAMA CARVED WOOD 12" SENCHA TRAY VINTAGE UJYOBORI JAPANESE SERVING PLATE Traditional hand-carved large Japanese sencha tray from Okayama Prefecture. Round tray features carved fruits, painted in serene dark reds and greens on smooth lacquered wood. The carving style is known as Ujobori, Ujo-bori or Ujyobori, and is traditional of Okayama, Japan. The wood maintains its natural characteristics and the grain is visible under the light lacquer finish.
