The outer slipcover has scratches and scuffs. It has wear along the edges and corners. The edges are blunted. It has small tears, folds and wrinkles. It has been stretched. The slipcover is very loose and slides right off the styrofoam. The styrofoam has scratches and dings. The railroad has small
color pieces missing and dust in some of the corners and cracks. It looks in pretty good shape. I didn't notice and cracks or scratches. I did plug it in and it works!! I am sure the light bulbs are original, I am not sure how much life is left in them. They did seem dim to me. The room had to be very dark to see them. The sound seemed to have no issues. When I pack this, I will try to put a little bubble wrap around each of the hanging lights and little station signs. Otherwise they will rattle around while in the mail. I may have to use some painters tape to hold the bubble wrap in place. I will do my best. The light bulbs have to be removed from their base to fit into the styrofoam correctly. I will carefully bubble wrap this. The edges of the paper of the slipcover will get folded over as I wrap it in bubble wrap. I will be as careful as I can. I will put filler paper around it and mail it in a box.
