Mid-20th century Sterling silver with wood handle, what is possibly the spoon part of spoon & fork salad serving set, or at 6 1/4" long might be & would work well as a sauce or jam spoon. The make is high quality, a very sleek mid-century design - the handle has a curve & beveled end. The silver bowl of the spoon is finely hammered into a subtle honeycomb design. It is in quite nice condition: there's tarnish from age, I did polish the top 1" that connects to the handle as it was quite tarnished & needed a light cleaning to be sure there wasn't any type of damage & the rivet was secure, which it is! The rest I left unpolished, it has developed a rich patina inside and along the edge so i'll leave that up to the buyer. Otherwise, just expected very light surface scuffs, no dings or deep scratches. I'm not sure on the wood, a few other past listings I researched, the handles seemed to be darker. Maybe those were stained or oiled, but this one seems the wood is lighter & is polished smooth but left natural without any layer of sealant that I can tell of. Overall just a very nice piece of older Peruvian silver, with it's wooden handle in exceptional condition! Most of the items I sell are vintage, used or new old stock, sourced from thrift stores, clearance, estate & garage sales and may show some general wear from age or use. I accept returns up to 14 days if not satisfied with your item after i've received it back in the same condition that it was sent. I will describe to my best ability any damage or excessive wear, but please expect some general age/shelf/use wear. The photos are the best way to see item condition, I try to get every angle & photos of any chips, nicks, scuffs etc. I am accustomed to packing fragile items with care for shipping. I do often use recycled shipping materials such as bubble wrap & boxes, this method allows me to only charge customers for the exact shipping cost - no hidden handling or fees on packing materials unless it's stated in the description. International customers please know the customs rules for the package destination, I am not accountable for refusals, delays, or fees. Please contact me with any issues prior to leaving negative/neutral Feedback - I will always do my best to solve any sort of problem!
