Keast and Emma Lozetta Sherwood. Photo by Conlon Studio, St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. Note: We have many other Keast family photos listed and sold separately. Measures approximately 4 x 6. Keast was born circa 1861-1862 in Cambridge, New Brunswick, Canada and died March 28, 1912 in St. John, New Brunswick. He was the son of Robert Keast (b. 1817 in England) and Eleanor Keast (b. 1822 in Canada). Cornelius was married to Emma Lozetta Sherwood on November 22, 1890 in St. John. Emma was born November 1, 1871 in St. John, and died September 6, 1931 in St. John. She was the daughter of Adoniram Guilford Sherwood (1848-1924) and Harriet Matilda Rider (1847-1910). Emma had two subsequent husbands including William Thomas Harvey (1851-1923) and Alfred Graves Perry (1867-1950). Cornelius and Emma had four children. Keast (died in infancy, although a photo of her exists taken September 8, 1900 at about the age of 2. Note: There was another Hettie Keast, most likely her father's sister, who married F. Tolman and had a son "Ford" Tolman, probably short for Guilford); and Charles Keast (born March 7, 1896 in Cambridge, NB, also believed to have died in infancy, although a couple of photos of him exist at the age of 2 months and about 1 year old).
