-You are ordering this antique (1912 - 1923), Wiefel & Company, German made, bisque with leather body, open mouth with teeth, WWI era, girl doll with brown eyes and curly brown hair.-This beautiful doll stands approximately 20" tall and her shoulders are about 8.5" wide. Jointed leather body. With nightgown, shoes, and a much later added stand marked "KEMPER" on the bottom. -Marked: Mold number "250", "W&C." "Germany"-From the estate doll collection of an eastern North Carolina military family who traveled and lived abroad for much of their adult lives. -Two short youtube video links below for the best views -From dollreference dot com: "In 1912 Erste Steinbacher Porzellanfabrik was sold to Hugo Wiefel and renamed Wiefel & Comapny, thus a new doll mark was used of W & Co or W&C with or without a doll mold number. By 1914 Wiefel's manufacturing was shut down because of World War 1 and restarted again in 1918, although it doesn't appear that bisque doll heads were resumed being made until around 1923."
