The Cathedral Church of Salisbury, a description of its fabric and a brief history of the see of Sarum, by Gleeson White, with plan and 50 illustrations. Vintage 1920s guide book, published by George Bell in their "Bell's Cathedral Series". 1921, fourth edition. Illustrated in black and white, with plan of the cathedral at the back. Limp covers. 123 pages. 7.5" x 5" approx. Weight 170g. Condition: Antique book, over a century old, in good condition. The pages are clean and tidy, but the binding is beginning to come loose in places, so the book needs to be handled with care. Covers are in remarkably good condition, with light wear at the edges and fading and light creasing at the spine. Previous owner's name (James Barber, Salisbury) in the front, dated 1927.
